Mike Ashleys Frasers Group today announced an amalgamation of units at its Boucher Retail Park to create a a large Sports Direct and USC store which will house the firms other brands Evans Cycles and Game.
This was undoubtedly the reason behind the acquisition of the retail Park by Mike Ashley for £40Million in March 2022 from Sam Morrison, who also owned Boucher Road’s Shane Retail Park and Cityside Retail Park until their sale in 2014 to US fund Marathon Asset Management.
Elsewhere on Boucher Road, Lidl will be opening a new store. Located in front of the National Football Stadium and Olympia Leisure Centre, the proposed new store will have a sales area of 1,425 sqm. This will be the first stand alone food store on the thriving boucher road.
Boucher road continues to be the prime area for retail warehousing in Belfast, with EZ Living in planning for a new state of the art 30,000sqft unit.
